HIGHLIGHTS OF GRANITE COUNTERTOPS

Granite is one of the most durable materials that can be used for countertops. Granite is a natural stone that is resistant to stains, heat and is available in virtually endless colors and patterns including speckled and veined stone.

USE:  Granite is used in various applications including kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, restaurant bar tops, outdoor living, kitchens and cafeterias.

PROS & CONS OF GRANITE

PROS:

Granite reflects the beauty of nature and complements any natural design.  Granite does not fade and is highly resistant to stains.

CONS:

As with all natural stone, granite is semi-porous.  Annual sealing is recommended to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment.  Sealing is easy, can be done by the homeowner and only takes about 10 minutes.  For outdoor living and barbeque areas that are exposed to the elements, we recommend a dark granite color, which is less likely to show water spots.
