HIGHLIGHTS OF QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS

Quartz is an engineered stone comprised of 90% natural quartz and about 10% resins, polymers and pigments for color.  Quartz provides the best of natural stone qualities with the added bonus of more durability.

USE:  Quartz may be used for any indoor surface area.

PROS & CONS OF QUARTZ

PROS:

Quartz is ideal for any indoor area including kitchens and bathrooms.  It is non-porous, anti-microbial, resistant to staining and there is no ongoing maintenance needed.  The colors and patterns of quartz are very uniform and consistent.

CONS:

The downside to Quartz is that the designs are not natural and Quartz can sun-fade.
